This article is designed to provide information on enabling MQTT on your zencontrol application controllers. MQTT is supported within the following devices:
· Application Controller Pro
· Field Controller
· ACx3 Pro
It is recommended to have firmware 1.9.182 or greater
Initially, MQTT licenses are required to be procured on a per-controller basis for the purpose of monitoring and controlling via MQTT.
Licenses can be purchased from Lumen Resources at https://shop.lumenresources.com.au/products/mqtt-license
Please note that the purchase of the license is not instantaneous, and time should be accounted for while the request is processed. Be prepared to provide the serial numbers for the controllers in question as well as the site ID.
Once MQTT has been enabled for the application controllers required, log into your site via the zencontrol cloud and navigate to Grid view -> Add-ons -> MQTT.
To confirm that MQTT has been enabled, search for the green tick in the license column.
1) To enable MQTT, select the check box below
2) Next, enter the IP address or host name of your MQTT broker.
3) In the Port field, enter in the port number for your MQTT broker. By default, MQTT operates on port 1883 (MQTT with SSL operates on port 8883 by default)
4) If your MQTT broker requires a username and password, enter these values under the credentials section to the right.
Repeat steps 1-4 for all application controllers that require MQTT to be enabled on.
