Preview turns the canvas into a working mock-up of the touch screen: buttons change state, sliders move, menus and navigation buttons switch pages, pop-ups open and the schedule editor appears. Test every page here before saving the project for site.
Click Preview at the top centre. The toolbox, grid and properties panel disappear.
Tap or click widgets as a user would.
Click Exit preview to return to editing.
The device menu next to Exit preview previews the layout at another size without changing the project:
| Option | Size (pixels) |
|---|---|
| Default (project size) | The screen size set in Panel settings |
| iPhone SE / iPhone 14 / iPhone 14 Pro Max | 375x667 / 390x844 / 430x932 |
| Pixel 7 / Samsung S23 | 412x915 / 360x780 |
| iPad Mini / iPad Pro 11" / iPad Pro 13" | 768x1024 / 834x1194 / 1024x1366 |
| Samsung Tab S9 / Surface Pro | 800x1280 / 912x1368 |
Every button shows a clear on / pressed colour, and its label stays readable in both states.
Sliders move smoothly and show sensible values (%, arc level or Kelvin).
Every menu item and navigation button goes to the right page, and you can always get back.
Pop-ups open at a usable size and close with the x (or another way if the header is hidden).
Plan view regions respond where you tap.
Schedule buttons open the schedule editor and list the right targets.
Text is not cut off at the project's real screen size.
Preview simulates the interface in the browser; it is for checking layout and behaviour.
On a phone, Preview runs full screen with a floating exit button.
