The Schedule button gives end users a simple schedule editor on the touch screen. You decide which targets they may schedule; they create, name and time the schedules themselves.
Add a Schedule button (Buttons group). Default size 1 x 1, calendar icon.
Set Widget name (for example Schedules or Timers).
Under Targets, click Use my targets and add each target the user may schedule. A counter shows how many are set, up to 20 per button. Groups, devices, zones and broadcast can be used; system variables cannot.
Add more Schedule buttons if different users or rooms need different target lists.
Pressing the button opens the Schedule window. With no schedules it shows No schedules configured and an Add schedule button.
| Field | Options |
|---|---|
| Schedule name | Required and must be unique (not case-sensitive), for example Morning lights on |
| Target | One of the targets the installer added; required |
| Command preset | Recall MAX, Recall Min, Off, On and step up, Down and turn off, Up, Down, Step up, Step down, Scene 0 to Scene 13, Arc level change, DAPC |
| Start time | To the minute (default 09:00 AM) |
| Recurrence | Daily, Weekly or Selected days |
Save schedule stays disabled until the name and target are filled in.
You can open the schedule editor in Preview to see what the user will see. If no targets are configured, the Target field reads No targets configured. Add targets in widget properties.
Name targets clearly in the zencontrol site before adding them; the user sees those names in the Target list.
Use a calendar or clock icon so the button is recognisable.
Combine with scene buttons so users can override a schedule by hand.
